Show Review: 733

So this was my first time seeing SD in Boise, having seen them from Bakersfield to San Diego & everywhere in between. It was a good fun show. Mike’s voice was suffering and it was noticeable, however….it didn’t matter, the crowd was in love! Also, Social D didn’t do what I have seen some bands do, which is treat the Boise show as if it is of less consequence than other states. In fact not only was the set list a nice mixture of the fairly old & new, but when they encored they played Carl Perkins & a few other nice blues songs…Which may have been the best performances of the night (Mike smoked the guitar!). Gotta hand it to Mike, it was obvious to me he was road weary, yet he gave every thing he had, and did not disappoint. See you next time.
