Social Distortion are just returning home from their first tour of Australia. Barely on the ground and already talking about getting back… the guys were extremely happy with the way it went and are looking forward to their next tour down under. This past Sunday at the House of Blues in San Diego, Social Distortion fan Marisa Branca presented Mike Ness with a beautiful painting she has done in support of Rock VS. Cancer. Marisa, who has been battling Leukemia and is now in remission, asked if Mike would hand paint some of his lyrics over her artwork.

This art collaboration and many others will be auctioned off this Saturday, Feb. 26, at Rock VS. Cancer at San Diego’s House of Blues. Rock VS. Cancer benefits The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to raise both funds and more importantly cancer awarenss. Click HERE for more information on Rock VS. Due to an outbreak of the flu, we regret to announce that tonight’s show in Modesto, CA at Centre Plaza and tomorrow night’s show in Davis, CA at Freeborn Hall at UC Davis are canceled. Tickets for both shows will be refunded at point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and we thank you for your understanding and continued support. We hope to make it back to Modesto and Davis very soon.

In support of the release of Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, Social D have announced US and European tour dates later this year. Chuck Ragan (of Hot Water Music) and Sharks will be joining Social Distortion on tour in the US and Frank Turner will support the guys in Europe (unless noted otherwise).
